1. Who we are
Marqet is a trading name of Perfect Car Collection Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 15878411, whose registered address is 10 Ladyhouse Lane, Berry Brow, Huddersfield, HD4 7QD, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Perfect Car Collection Ltd trading as Marqet, and "you" means the person placing an order or using this website.
You can reach us at admin@marqet.co.uk or on 07883 386238, every day from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
2. These terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to every order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to them.
Our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms. Where the Privacy Policy deals with personal data, it takes precedence over these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If any part of these terms is found to be unfair or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
3. Ordering and when a contract is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order; it does not by itself form a contract. A contract comes into existence when we email you to confirm that the goods have been dispatched.
If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or because it was listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay.
We take payment when you place your order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
Prices can change, but a change will never affect an order we have already accepted.
5. Products
All goods sold on this website are brand new and supplied in their original packaging unless the product page clearly says otherwise. Where a manufacturer's warranty applies, it is passed on to you in addition to your statutory rights.
We show product images and descriptions as accurately as we can. Small variations in colour, packaging or specification can occur where a manufacturer changes a product. If what arrives is materially different from what was described, your rights under our Refund Policy and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply.
Products are offered subject to availability.
6. Delivery and risk
We deliver to mainland UK addresses as set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery timescales given there are estimates.
The goods become your responsibility when you, or someone you have named to receive them, take physical possession of them. You own them once we have received payment in full.
If we fail to deliver within 30 days, or within any period we have agreed with you, you may treat the contract as at an end and receive a full refund.
7. Your right to cancel and to return goods
As a consumer you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. We also offer an additional 60-day goodwill window for change-of-mind returns. Both are set out in full, including who pays return postage and how refunds are calculated, in our Refund Policy.
8. Your rights if something is wrong with the goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:
- within 30 days of delivery you may reject them and receive a full refund;
- after 30 days you are entitled to a repair or a replacement, and to a refund if a repair or replacement is not possible or does not resolve the problem.
These rights are in addition to anything in our Refund Policy and cannot be limited by these terms.
9. Our liability to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods, and for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. We supply goods for domestic and private use; if you use them for any commercial purpose we have no liability for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
10. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as possible and, where the delay is substantial, you may cancel and receive a full refund for goods not delivered.
11. Use of this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse it by introducing malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or scraping content for republication. The content of this website, including text, images and layout, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Product names, brand names and logos referred to on this website belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the goods offered for sale.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you are unhappy with anything, email admin@marqet.co.uk and mark your message "Complaint". We will acknowledge it within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.
If we cannot resolve the matter between us, you may be able to refer it to an alternative dispute resolution provider. Once our internal complaints process is exhausted we will tell you in writing which ADR provider we will use and whether we agree to take part.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland, and if you live in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published on this page when you placed it. The date at the top shows when this page was last changed.
